Multimedia Center @ Wheatley: MMC Photo Gallery

About this project

Last school year, we transformed our media center into a MULTImedia center. In it, students were able to explore theme-related concepts through the use of new technology. This technology included the SMART Board, a SMART table, and iPads.

This year, we have added two new centers (and more new technology): a computer center (with a computer, touchmonitor, child-friendly mouse, and printer) and an independent reading center (with iPod touches & Franklin AnyBook Readers).

It is our hope to keep this blog updated weekly with descriptions of activities, multimedia center happenings, examples of student work, and photos.
